When the JREF heard that I was raising money to get people to QEDcon next year by offering people who donated the chance to win geeky prizes they got in touch and offered to send me some ‘James Randi goodies’ to help with the fundraising. I eagerly accepted the kind offer and soon afterwards two parcels arrived in the post from the US. I didn’t know what would be inside and had a bit of a fan-girl moment when I opened the packages to discover:
A mint condition signed hardback copy of the rare ‘Conjuring’ book authored by Randi, and,
A signed original lithograph of ‘The Levitation of a Live Woman’ The Amazing Randi poster
They are both beautiful, beautiful items and I’m really excited to give people the chance to win these prizes while also helping to raise money to fund tickets to QEDcon for people on a low income. It’s the best of both worlds.
Due to the value of these items donated by the JREF, I have decided to auction them off on Ebay – if you want to bid (and why wouldn’t you?!) head over to the auctions now and make an offer. These items are priceless, so please be generous.
Note: International bidders – because I accidentally set these up as UK auctions and received bids straight away it means I cannot go back in and add an international postage option (enabling it to be bid on internationally). If you leave me your username I can add you to an Exclusion List which will allow you to bid as an international bidder.
Get bidding, folks!

Geek wanting to win geeky Randy poster.
please tell me how!
If you’re in the UK you can just bid on it, but if you’re overseas I can add your ebay username to the exclusion list which will allow you to bid. You just need to let me know your username.
Hi Hayley
I couldn’t bid on the poster as I live in Denmark. I had to cheat and register a UK address.
Hi, this is my fault as I forgot to put in International Postage costs which meant those overseas couldn’t bid. I can now add people to an exclusion list which will allow them to bid. I apologise.
